Odd weapon/item availability? - Guild Wars Forums

Henge of Denravi seems to have some very nice items to choose from; providing some melee/caster cross-class support:

14-21 sword +5 energy (req 9)
+10 energy +5 armor offhands (req 8)
6-20 axe +25 HP (req 8)
13-25 long bow +10 armor (req 8)
18-23 hammer +25 HP (req 9)

Question from me is, do items like these exist in better form? Not worried about vendor vs. collector, but would like a + energy axe since one exists in sword form. And annother quick question, anyone owning these verify that they can or cannot be upgraded with hilts/hafts?

I know that the sword can take hilt and pommel. I dont know for the rest. But henge sword is the best weapon for monks.

That sword can be very useful

Well I found the nice list of all collectors items, but nothing similar available listing vendors (which is where the items I listed come from).

No love on this one? I can't seem to find any weapon vendors offering more than customization services post-Henge.

It has also been my experience that there are only two sources for items with "unusual" attributes outside of the normal drop ranges (http://www.gwonline.net/page.php?p=125)

- Weaponsmith at the Henge
- Pre-order items

I would be interested in hearing if anyone is aware of other places to find such curiosities.

By the way the +10ar longbow with a +5/7 defense/warding/shelter mod is extremely useful for trapping and pulling. It doesn't do 'teh ub4r' damage, but it offers protection comparable to a max shield *without having any attribute requirements*. . .
